For the 6th year in a row, Bluespring collaborated with Navingo in creating marine energy content for the annual Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference. This year's event was the first fully virtual event. Over three days, participants could watch three parallel channels broadcasting live TalkShows, inspirational EnergyTalks, living room discussions at the EnergyPlaza with Eva Brouwer and product Showcases. The random chatroom was refreshingly fun and effective. Here you would meet random people for exactly 2 minutes, and felt like speed dating. The Matchmaking tool resulted a series of follow up meetings in the days after the event. In short, the new format worked and seems future proof!
As part of OEEC, Bluespring moderated two TalkShows: Marine Energy: the next big thing! and the Future of Energy transition and facilitated two EnergyTalks one by IRENA and one about offshore floating solar with Oceans of Energy and University of Utrecht.
Industry majors Andries van Unen, CEO of Tocardo, Richard Parkinson, CEO of Inyanga Marine Projects, Patrik Möller, CEO of Corpower Ocean, and Kim Nielsen, Wave Energy Consultant at Ramboll, discuss the next big thing in energy with moderator Peter Scheijgrond, Director of Bluespring (formely MET-support).
In this TalkShow, Peter asked the participants about the positive impacts of COVID, the launching markets for marine renewable energy solutions and how their companies want to play a role in the energy transition.
Moderator Peter Scheijgrond on the sofa with Eva Brouwer for an after chat about the state of the industry and what inspires him in the sector.
