The sea has always shaped life in The Hague. This week, discover a new side of the ocean. Explore exhibitions, tours, talks and activities that reveal how the sea is helping build a cleaner, more sustainable future. Organised by Bluespring on behalf of the Municipality of The Hague, Blue Week brings the city alive alongside the international ICOE OEE 2026 conference.

What can we learn from the ocean?

The sea is not only a place for nature, relaxation and recreation, but also a source of knowledge, innovation and opportunities for the future.

During Blue Week, you'll discover how people, nature and technology come together to shape the future of our coast and our energy system. Through exhibitions, stories and experiences across the city, we invite everyone to learn something new.

Whether you come for an inspiring exhibition, an afternoon with your family, or simply out of curiosity, Blue Week invites you to discover something new about the sea that connects us all.
