As part of Blue Week 2026, students from Maris College will have the opportunity to discover the exciting world of ocean innovation through a programme that combines digital learning, Masterclasses, expert interaction, and a visit to the International Conference on Ocean Energy & Ocean Energy Europe (ICOE OEE).

Start with the fundamentals

Students will complete introductory online modules on offshore renewable energy through the Deftiq learning platform. Supported by their teachers, the courses introduce key topics such as wave and tidal energy.

Learn from the experts

To complement the online learning, on 24th of September 2026, students will participate in interactive masterclasses led by experts from the Offshore For Sure project. These sessions will provide insights into pioneering technologies, showcase real-world applications, and introduce students to study and career opportunities in marine technology, engineering, and sustainability.
